Dr. Roberta Porter started at Willamette Veterinary Hospital in 2016. She is originally from Southern Oregon, but moved to Corvallis to attend Oregon State University. After multiple degrees, many years working as an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School and as a manager at Peak Sports in Corvallis, she pursued the lifelong dream of becoming a Veterinarian. Dr. Porter remains an outdoor enthusiast while fishing the coastal streams, and mushroom hunting. She is a proud member of the local and national kennel clubs with her Rhodesian Ridgebacks. She is an AKC breeder of merit, and shares her home with three ridgebacks Mosi, Reign and Shamba. A fluffy orange cat “Squash” completes the household.
