Dr. Courtney Dewlaney joined the WilVet team in July, 2018. She is originally from Pleasant Hill, CA and earned her B.S. degree in animal science and equine science from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, CA. She then attended Oregon State University and earned her Doctorate in June, 2018. While in vet school, she worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal practice in CA and at a koala hospital in Australia, did original research in equine surgery, and helped organize and participate in veterinary clinics in Grenada, West Indies and Ometepe, Nicaragua. Dr. Dewlaney’s professional interests include emergency medicine and surgery in addition to expanding her knowledge on imaging and exotic species. In her free time, her and her boyfriend can be found hiking/running or exploring Oregon with their miniature horses (Shiloh and Dream), dog (Doc) and crazy cat (Gracie).
