Anesthesia is an ever evolving area of veterinary medicine. This evening’s presentation will provide you with new information and some excellent revision focused on veterinary anesthesia and the newest induction agent available in the US.

Adolf Maas, DVM, DABVP (R&A), CertAqV., has an extensive clinical and research background ranging from ocular neurological development of birds to reproductive methods in the Sumatran rhinoceros, working with species from dogs to sharks.  As an exotics and zoo animal practitioner, he has studied and practiced anesthesia on over a hundred species and consults to facilities in the U.S. and abroad. He has authored dozens of research articles, textbook chapters and other publications on topics in veterinary medicine.  Additionally, he is an accomplished veterinary lecturer and has been a speaker at AVMA, ABVP, WVC, ExoticsCon and numerous veterinary and vet technical schools.  LinkedIn
