Dr. Jeff Nelson is from the cold state of Minnesota. He moved to Oregon 9 years ago to get away from the cold weather and adventure the recreational opportunities Oregon has to offer. Nelson got his Bachelors in Business Administration and attended vet school at Oregon State University. Dr. Nelson is a man of many skills and enjoys; Golf, Skiing, Fishing, backpacking, leather working, cooking, tennis, basketball, soccer, gardening, and more to come. Jeff likes to spend time with his partner Jen and their herd of animals. They have seven cats: Bowser, Boots, Bagels, Bradley, Bronson, Larry, and Toby. They also have two dogs: Koa and Autzen, 4 cows, and nine chickens.
When asked what his pets mean to him Dr. Nelson said “They are my family and home. I look forward to coming home to them every day and the dogs accompany me pretty much everywhere I go.”Dr. Nelson has had a lifelong love for animals as well as internal medicine and surgery. Gus, a yellow lab, was Dr. Nelson’s first dog that he got at the age of 21. Gus is the animal that inspired Dr. Nelson to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. When seeing patients Dr. Nelson strives to keep the room comfortable for both client and patient.
